PENNY CROFTS Penny Crofts studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London, England, graduating with a BA (Hons) Fine Art in 2002. Crofts’ work is continually evolving, and in 2012 she took her unique brand of art using thermography to a higher level, by photographing elite athletes in several sporting disciplines. These included Olympic Champions Steve Williams OBE and Mark Hunter MBE, who were portrayed during her residency at Leander Boat Club in Henley on Thames. She then transcribed these images onto canvas using acrylic paint to reflect power, talent and determination.She has exhibited her work at Henley Royal Regatta, in Cork Street Mayfair, Hoxton Square Shoreditch, The Affordable Art Fair Battersea, and at galleries across the UK. Her work is held in private collections across the world, including Brazil, Australia, America, France and the UK.
