MILENA ZEVU Sculpture 'Armour or Light' of Milena ZeVu, Palm Beach, 2009
Endangered Bonelli eagle was a great inspiration for me, first time working on a sculpture using my technique in a combination of cement and Swarovski Crystals. In the summer 2009, in front of the hotel Hermitage in Monte Carlo, the eagle ‘Armour of Light’ was shining, knowing that soon will find another beautiful place on Earth, Palm Beach in Florida. ‘Armour of Light’ was sold for the highest selling price between 55 other works on the same theme, at the Sotheby’s led auction in October 2009, in Monte Carlo. |
